Who We Serve

Young Athlete

Club Athletes, Ninjas, Gold Medal Winners on the playground: Kids today are involved in sports at a higher intensity, and sometimes may be choosing one sport to participate in year round.  This places stresses on their bodies while they are still developing and can cause muscle imbalances and overuse injuries at or around growth plates. We understand the effects of this and can help to recover and return to playing while also empowering the kids and families with information to avoid continued problems on their road to becoming an athlete, FOREVER.

They are invincible and underestimate the different aspects required to make it to the next level. These athletes require cont. attention to reversing muscle imbalances that occur with the cont. efforts and time performing their chosen sport. They need people who understand what it takes to get to the next level with expertise on how to balance the drive while also learning the importance of taking care of their bodies to make sure their bodies can cont. to produce,  FOREVER.

Casual Athlete

Life is your Sport with a dab of recreational FUN:  the constant sitting at the computer or in the car, the repetitive movements required to perform your job, and maybe the sporadic weekend adventure after intermittent workouts at best cause a breakdown and muscle imbalances which are equally imperative to rehabilitate in order to provide for the lifestyle in which you are still dreaming to achieve so that you too can continue to play for yourself or just with your kids, FOREVER.

Senior Athlete

As a clinician she has learned that no two bodies are the same and no one method works for all. Therefore, she places high value on what she has learned from the many great therapists and physicians she has had the opportunity to work with and on continuing to learn new techniques in order to offer the best treatments to each individual she works with. Terra has developed a holistic treatment philosophy which emphasizes evaluating and treating the whole kinetic chain and areas around the injury in order to restore proper whole body movement patterns to minimize risk of re- injury and optimize performance. She recognizes the importance of identifying what contributed to the injury, correcting the problem and educating the individual on all aspects of how to prevent re-injury including proper hydration/nutrition, sleep, stress relief, recovery methods and periodization of activity/training.
